APC Policy

The Journal of Foreign Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics (J-FLTAL) operates under a strict Diamond Open Access publishing model. We are committed to fostering global academic exchange by ensuring there are no financial barriers for either authors or readers.

Zero Publication Fees
Authors are not required to pay any fees at any stage of the publication process. Specifically, J-FLTAL maintains the following financial policies:
● No Submission Fees: Authors are never charged a fee to submit a manuscript for editorial consideration.
● No Article Processing Charges (APCs): If a manuscript is accepted after peer review, there are absolutely no charges for copyediting, typesetting, hosting, or publishing the article.
● No Hidden Costs: We do not impose any supplementary charges based on article length, color figures, or the inclusion of supplementary data.

Institutional Support
All operational and publication costs for the journal are fully subsidized and generously supported. This institutional backing ensures that our editorial and peer-review processes remain completely independent and are based solely on the scientific validity and academic merit of the submissions.

Immediate Open Access
Because all costs are covered by the publisher, every accepted article is made immediately, permanently, and freely available to the global public upon publication under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, allowing researchers to share and build upon the work without subscription barriers.
